Will is a proposal writer by day and a speculative fiction writer by night. He was developed in the mountains of Virginia and now operates in the prairies of Manitoba. He holds an MFA from George Mason University where he was assistant fiction editor for Phoebe Journal of Literature and Art.
Will worked on his first novel with Duncan Thornton during the 2013 Sheldon Oberman Mentorship Program through the Manitoba Writers’ Guild. His short fiction has appeared or is forthcoming in Parallel Prairies, Unburied Fables, Expanded Horizons, The Northern Virginia Review, Another Place: Brief Disruptions, and Sassafras Literary Magazine, and his book reviews have appeared in The Winnipeg Review, Prairie Fire, and As It Ought to Be.
He is currently working on a novel with the support of his family, partner, friends, cats, full-time job, and a grant from the Winnipeg Arts Council.
When he’s not writing about business or other worlds, he can often be found playing video games or herding cats.
