Will is a queer writer, editor and instructor who specializes in speculative fiction, but also loves a good contemporary story. He was developed in the mountains of Virginia and now operates in the prairies of Manitoba. Will holds an MFA from George Mason University where he was assistant fiction editor for Phoebe Journal of Literature and Art. His fiction has appeared in various journals and anthologies, including Acceptance: Stories at the Centre of Us, Parallel Prairies, Unburied Fables, Expanded Horizons, The Northern Virginia Review, Another Place: Brief Disruptions, and Sassafras Literary Magazine. His book reviews have appeared in Prairie Fire, The Winnipeg Review, and As It Ought to Be. Will has taught writing at the post-secondary level, and has led community fiction writing workshops. When he’s not writing, he can often be found playing video games or herding cats.
Will is currently working on a novel with the support of a grant from the Winnipeg Arts Council.
